St. Eloi Knights of Columbus council 8779.
Was chartered September 28th, 1984 at Theriot, Louisiana. The first Grand Knight was "Wayne Redden". There were 56 Charter members. Our Grand Knights starting with the Present and going back;

Our Ladies Auxiliary;
Founded on Septenber 30,1987 under the name "St. Eloi Kaycee Auxiliary" at Theriot, Louisiana stating the following to be their Aims and Purposes; This Auxiliary is organized to assist the Knights of columbus and to promote good fellowship through religious and social activities and to participate in Kaycee Council of Auxiliaries of Louisiana,Inc. projects, all within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
